design, quality materials and good craftsmanship are
what separate quality custom jobs from “track builder
syndrome”, where speed and cheap seem to be the
priority.
Being a custom builder for 30+ years, I understand the
importance of staying within one’s budget, but I don’t
believe the fastest and cheapest way is necessarily the
best. I have worked on jobs from “basic” to “quite
fancy” with Johnnie’s tile and they have helped me
tremendously.

"I guess you could say that my wife
and I are interior design challenged. We were really
unsure as to how we wanted to proceed with the updating
of our master bath. Shawn and her staff immediately took
us under their wing and guided us through the process.
They were able to provide many pictures and examples of
master bath changes. Their suggestions on various issues
relating to the construction process were up to date and
very helpful.
One example of this was Shawn's
suggestion on how to change the entrance to the walk in
shower and how to make it zero clearance. A feature we
wanted but were unsure as to how to work it into the
process. Shawn listened to our desires and was able to
put it into a plan. Her enthusiasm for her job never
diminished. Shawn and her staff are definitely service
